ABOUT ME
Although I only recently discovered the world of coding and software development, I have always known that finding creative solutions for problems and challenges are things that have motivated me in my personal and professional life. This is what compelled me to earn a Master's in Business Administration with an emphasis in Logistics and Supply chain Management. I spent 10 years creating, developing, and growing the logistics department of a catalog company importing goods from India, China, Turkey and Portugal. I enjoyed coming up with solutions to the many roadblocks and obstacles encountered in the world of imports and logistics.
After 10 years in the industry, I decided it was time to learn new skills and find new ways to explore my love for problem solving. I signed up for an online data analytics class and found that I thoroughly enjoyed learning SQL. This inspired me to explore learning new languages. The more I learned, the more I realized that this was the new direction I wanted to take. After much research, I came across the Software Engineering Immersive at General Assembly and decided to take the leap into the world of software development - and I'm so glad I did, because it's not only been challenging, but exciting and rewarding as well. |
